International Fugitive Wanted on Child Porn Charges Arrested at MIA

A man wanted on a dozen counts of promoting child pornography was arrested at Miami International Airport as he arrived from Belize.

Robert Andrew Ragin, 54, was wanted in Brevard County on the child porn charges. The U.S. Marshal’s Service, along with Customs and Border Protection met Ragin at the gate and he was immediately taken into custody.

“CBP officers work closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to make sure wanted fugitives face justice,” Port Director Christopher Maston said in a written statement. “We remain vigilant and will continue to proactively address threats, minimize vulnerabilities and maximize security.”

Ragin has been turned over to Brevard County authorities for prosecution.
