DeSantis signs first death warrant for execution of serial killer

Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed his first death warrant since taking office. DeSantis signed the death warrant Tuesday for convicted serial killer and rapist Bobby Joe Long, the governor's office announced Wednesday. Judge Mistakenly Frees Florida Inmate Headed to Federal Prison

Authorities say a man who was sentenced to 23 years in federal prison for armed carjacking is back in custody after being accidentally released from prison. Brevard County Sheriff's spokesman Tod Goodyear tells the Orlando Sentinel that 29-year-old Cedrick Gant turned himself over to U.S. Marshals in Orlando on Monday afternoon. Teen, attorneys meet with prosecutors over rough arrest caught on camera

A 15-year-old boy and his attorneys met Tuesday with prosecutors from the Broward County State Attorney's Office less than a week after his rough arrest by Broward Sheriff's Office deputies in Tamarac. Delucca Rolle and his legal counsel are seeking to have all of the charges against him dropped. Those charges include assaulting a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and trespassing. FBI Believes Russians Hacked “at Least One” Florida County, per Mueller Report

Medical Board Wants Butt Lift Doctor Banned from Performing Plastic Surgery
