11-year-old girl reported missing in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale police are searching for an 11-year-old girl who has been reported missing.

According to authorities, Sophia Morota was last seen wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt with black pants and was carrying a cheetah-print suitcase.

She is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds.

Sophia has brown eyes and straight brown hair.

Police did not immediately confirm what area she was last seen in or for how long she’s been missing.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call their local police department immediately.
