MIAMI – Four people who were hospitalized after a shooting occurred near a Miami nightclub over the weekend have been released from the hospital, authorities confirmed on Friday.

Miami police said two others were also shot around 9 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Northwest 25th Avenue and 36th Street.

Police said those two victims were treated at the scene and the remaining four victims were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

According to authorities, the victims were inside of a 2010 Honda Civic when two men who were armed with guns got out of a car, possibly a gray Dodge Charger with tinted windows, and began shooting at them.

The motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
