TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida has surpassed 100,000 cases of COVID-19 after reporting 2,926 new cases on Monday morning.
The state is now up to 100,217 total confirmed cases and 3,173 deaths associated with COVID-19, according to the latest data released by the health department.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Surveillance cameras were rolling as a driver slammed his SUV into a South Florida restaurant.
That driver was taken into custody, accused of being drunk behind the wheel.

MIAMI – Police in Miami are investigating a shooting outside a luxury high-rise.
Authorities said a man was shot multiple times and was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
A large police presence was seen in the area of Northeast First Avenue and Ninth Street in Downtown Miami.
Police said they were called to the Paramount building just before 9 p.m. to reports of a man who had been shot.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police detectives tracked a robbery suspect into a desolate area off Okeechobee Road Wednesday afternoon after a woman said she was robbed at gunpoint.
