Stray bullet strikes front window of salon
POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A man was hospitalized early Tuesday morning after he was shot at an apartment building in Pompano Beach.
The shooting was reported around 1 a.m. at the Envy apartment building in the 400 block of East Atlantic Avenue.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at the scene to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

LAUDERHILL,Fla. – Detectives have arrested a man who they said fired shots at a Lauderhill Fire Rescue truck last week.
The shooting occurred as three medics and rescue workers were traveling westbound in the 3100 block of Northwest 19th Street.
According to the suspect’s arrest warrant, the shooting damaged the truck’s radiator, but the victims were not injured in the shooting.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man who Miami-Dade police initially thought was one of several victims in a shooting that occurred over the weekend in northwest Miami-Dade, was the aggressor, authorities confirmed.
Kijuan Sears, 30, faces numerous charges, including attempted murder, perjury, tampering with physical evidence, and discharging a firearm in public.
He was taken into custody on Monday.

OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – Opa-locka police swarmed a neighborhood late Wednesday night, responding to a possible shooting.
It happened shortly before 11 p.m. near Ahmad Street and Dunad Avenue.
