CHICAGO (AP) — A 67-year-old Florida man has been arrested in the theft of $170,000 worth of diamonds from a Chicago jewelry store.
Chicago police say Tamaz Hubel of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, was taken into custody Sunday while trying to board a plane to France from Miami-Dade International Airport. Police say he's being held in Florida pending his extradition to Illinois.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. - A 17-year-old boy was shot in the buttocks Sunday night in a drive-by shooting in northwest Miami-Dade.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent Alberto Carvalho took to Twitter to condemn the shooting.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - A 21-year-old man was arrested early Monday after police said he lost control of his vehicle while drunk and crashed into two parked cars.
