Former UM, FIU professor sentenced to 6 1/2 years for possessing child porn


A Miami man, who was a former adjunct professor at the University of Miami and Florida International University, was sentenced to six and a half years in prison for maintaining two storage units that contained more than 5,000 images of child pornography, Ariana Fajardo Orshan, U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida, announced Tuesday in a news release.
