Broward Mom Accused of Driving While on Drugs With Toddler in Car

A Broward County woman is facing charges after police say she was caught driving while on drugs with her 2-year-old son in the car.

Agostina Nicole Frasca, 26, was arrested Tuesday on charges including neglect child without great bodily harm, possession of THC, possession of Xanaz, possession of Percocet, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a Pembroke Pines Police report.

Frasca, of Cooper City, was being held without bond Wednesday, Broward jail records showed. It was unknown if she’s hired an attorney.

According to the arrest report, Frasca was stopped in the area of Palm Avenue and Pembroke Pines Boulevard for not wearing a seatbelt. Her 2-year-old son was in the back seat in a child seat.

The officer could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the car and found loose pieces of marijuana on the center console area, the report said. Frasca also had a circular mirror with powder on the front passenger seat, the report said.

“Frasca had a white powdery substance caked under her left nostril and on the front of her dress,” the report said. The powder later tested positive for cocaine, the report said.

The officer reported that Frasca looked disheveled and her clothing was dirty and blood stained. She also appeared nervous and uneasy, was speaking rapidly and “based on my experience under the influence of narcotics,” the report said.

Frasca said there were no drugs in the car but a search turned up a glass pipe with drug residue, a bag of marijuana, two bags of cocaine and some other drugs, the report said. In the rear passenger door handle were pieces of cannabis that were in reach of where her son was sitting, the report said.

Frasca told the officer the drugs weren’t hers and that the car had been stolen and she just got it back, according to the report. She later admitted she works as an escort and had done cocaine in a motel with a client the night before, the report said.

The toddler also had a dirty face and smelled dirty/soiled, the report said.
