Coral Gables detectives are searching for a hit and run driver who struck a jogger in Coral Gables Monday evening and failed to stop.

The victim, Odiliana Gonzalez, 46, was taken to Doctor’s Hospital and is in serious condition following the 6 p.m. accident at Country Club Prado and South Greenway Drive.

According to Coral Gables police, witnesses said the vehicle that struck Gonzalez was red and possibly a Jeep.

The vehicle was last seen traveling north on Red Road from South Greenway Drive.
