Man Killed in Miami Beach Construction Accident

A man was killed in an accident at a Miami Beach construction site Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The incident happened in the area of 82nd Street and Harding Avenue, Miami Beach Police said.

According to police, 47-year-old Ernesto Rodriguez was on a scaffold when the scaffold was struck by a cement truck. The impact caused the scaffold to collapse and Rodriguez fell to his death.

The incident remains under investigation but no charges are expected.
