Police: Florida woman downs Redd’s Wicked Apple can, becomes ‘argumentative’
A Florida woman was arrested on July 7 after police said she began to argue with family members after downing a can of Redd’s Wicked Apple.
The 35-year-old woman returned from work on and drank the alcoholic beverage and began yelling at her live-in boyfriend, the Northwest Florida Daily News reports. He told her to have her father come pick her up or he would contact the authorities, but she snatched his phone and left the room.

The boyfriend attempted to leave but kept losing his balance due to a broken leg, and was pushed by the woman into a rock exterior outside of the house. He contacted authorities after walking half a mile to a convenience store, police said.
Police added that the woman was “highly intoxicated” and was attempting to leave the home when they arrived. She placed her hands behind her back when they denied her request to leave and said “then just arrest me then,” police said.
According to officers, she said her boyfriend hit her, but she still loved him and that she pushed him earlier so “he would know how it felt.” She was arrested and charged with battery.
