Man fatally shot in car in northwest Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are investigating after a man was found dead Monday morning.

The body was discovered in the area of Northwest 21st Avenue and 65th Street.

According to Detective Argemis Colome, who is also a spokesman for the police department, officers responded to the area around 6 a.m. after receiving a Shotspotter call.

He said officers found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the vehicle.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue was called to the area and first responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made and authorities did not have a description of the shooter or shooters.
