Man Shot in Coconut Grove Home Invasion

Miami police confirmed a man and woman were inside the house when two armed men stormed in. At some point during the confrontation, someone shot the man in the stomach; he was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Neighbors said they woke up in the middle of the night to find flashing lights all over their street.
“[I] wasn’t exactly sure what was going on, but when more than one police car shows up at a time, there’s something going on,” neighbor Skip Ryder said.
The victim was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Neighbors said they don’t know much about the victims.
“They just moved in not too long ago. A couple months, maybe,” neighbor Lisa Ellis said.
