Miami criminal defense attorney will be tasked with defending man who pocket-dialed 911 while discussing murder plan

Individuals accused of crimes in the Sunshine State are encouraged to enlist the services of a Miami criminal defense attorney to defend them in a court of law.
On Tuesday, May 28, 24-year-old Scott Simon was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on I-95 in Oakland Park, Florida, on May 5, and a Miami criminal defense attorney will have his hands full trying to defend the suspect. According to NBC Miami, Simon accidentally pocket-dialed 911 while speaking with a co-conspirator about killing 33-year-oldĀ Nicholas Walker. The entire conversation was recorded, and minutes later Walker was shot.
Law enforcement official said that they don’t think Simon was the one who pulled the trigger, and they are currently searching for two other men who they believe were involved in murdering the father of three.
“When you see someone one day and the next day someone tells you that they’re gone. And then to find out the way that he went is really the most tragic part of it all,” Melissa Hibbard, the victim’s girlfriend, told the source. “We’re here on pause and on stop, trying to figure out where do we put the pieces back together, after you’ve done this to us.”
