According to The Miami Herald, an inmate who was considered to be a key witness in the trial of Geralyn Graham – a woman accused of murdering a foster child and ultimately convicted of kidnapping and aggravated child abuse – was released from prison earlier this week. The source states that 50-year-old Robin Lunceford was serving time for armed robbery when she entered an agreement with prosecutors to reduce her life sentence to 10 years in exchange for testifying against Graham, who allegedly confessed to her in 2004 while the two women shared a jail cell.

Lunceford’s release date was pushed back from December 2012 to April 2014 following some instances of violent behavior in prison, but prosecutors claimed that this was a result of other inmates viewing her as a snitch.

“She would have gotten out. It would have been now or a year from now,” said Lunceford’s Miami criminal defense lawyer. “I’m not sure what her plans are. I think she was certified as a personal trainer in prison, so she may try to work as a trainer.”
