Police Seek ‘Person Of Interest’ In D.C. Family Slaying

Surveillance footage released by D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department shows the individual dressed in dark clothing and walking past a dumpster.
Police are also seeking information regarding a blue, 2008 Porsche 911 with D.C. license plates DK 2418 in connection with the case. The vehicle was discovered in New Carrollton, Maryland, where it was set on fire, according to MyFoxDC.
Last week, police identified two of the victims as Savvas Savopoulos, 46, and his wife, Amy Savopoulos, 47, NBC Washington reports. The other two victims were identified as the couple’s son, Philip, 10, and housekeeper, Veralicia Figueroa, 57.
All four individuals are considered homicide victims, according to an initial report from the Associated Press. At least three of the victims suffered blunt-force injuries or stab wounds.
Authorities have not revealed any details of who might have committed the crime or why.
