(Bravo, News, Reality TV) The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter may have moved on from her ex-husband, but she’s still fighting him in court. The latest battle stems from his attempt to get out of paying $10K a month in child support.

RHOC Star’s Ex-Husband Says the Show Cost Him His Job

Matt Kirschenheiter was involved in a domestic violence incident against Gina in 2019. He was arrested and charged with several felonies. He claims he lost his job because of the media coverage of his arrest. Media attention that only happened because of Gina’s role on RHOC.

In court earlier this week, Matt asked a judge to reduce the amount of child support and alimony he is supposed to pay Gina every month.

Radar Online reports that a previous court order granted Gina $10K a month from her ex. However, Matt now claims he can’t pay because he lost his job. The judge scheduled another hearing in March to hand down a decision on that aspect of the case.

However, there is another issue yet to be worked out.

Gina Kirschenheiter Fighting Deposition, Doesn’t Want to be Near Ex

The court also heard arguments surrounding Matt’s attempt at deposing Gina about the domestic violence incident. Matt asked the judge to sanction Gina for $5,000 over her refusal to sit for a deposition.

The law allows Matt to be in the same room when the deposition occurs. However, the orders of protection the RHOC star has against her ex gives her the right not to be in the same room.

The judge suggested Skype as an alternative but ordered them to figure it out themselves. One of the orders of protection is set to be discussed during the March hearing.

Rumors Swirl that Gina was Fired from RHOC After Her Cryptic Post

A bombshell report by Radar Online claimed that Gina was the only RHOC star not asked to return for Season 15. Bravo Exec Andy Cohen seemingly denied the report on Twitter. He implied the gossip site wasn’t a reliable source by tweeting, “why is anyone believing Radar Online?”

However, when Gina posted on her Instagram about going off the grid, fans took that as confirmation. It turns out that Gina really was going off the grid. The reality star is in Costa Rica on vacation with boyfriend, Travis Mullen.

The new couple have been dating since August. They made it Instagram official in October.
