Suspect charged in Wednesday’s fatal shooting of 24-year-old Hallandale Beach woman | Miami Herald
Whatever time murder suspect Eddie Mosley bought himself with a shaved head ran out around 2 a.m. Thursday.
That’s when Hallandale Beach police took Mosley into custody and charged him with the wee hours Wednesday shooting death of 24-year-old Marlena Turnquist. In all Mosely faces three charges: premeditated homicide, attempted felony murder and firearms possession by a convicted felon. The attempted felony murder charge refers to the shooting of Mosley’s older brother, Deneil Merritt, who was with Turnquist outside her grandmother’s Hallandale Beach home.
Mosley, also a Hallandale Beach resident, swung by a Hollywood barber shop Wednesday to get his dreadlocks removed. Surveillance cameras caught Mosley leaving the shop and on his bicycle afterward.
Convictions of grand theft, burglary, criminal mischief and misdemeanor marijuana possession comprise Mosley’s criminal record.
