Suspect in apparent standoff with BSO outside Miami Gardens church

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Sky 10 is over the scene of an apparent standoff between a subject and law enforcement officials outside of a church Tuesday afternoon.

Broward Sheriff’s Office units followed the subject to the parking lot of St. Monica’s Catholic Church at 3490 Northwest 191st Street in Miami Gardens shortly before noon.

The vehicle they have surrounded is a dark-colored Ford Edge SUV.
