U.S. Marshals attempted murder fugitive cuffed in Miami Beach residential neighborhood

A U.S. Marshals fugitive wanted for attempted murder was taken into custody around 1 a.m. Monday in South Beach, Miami Beach police said.

Miami Beach police, with help from Miami and Miami-Dade police and U.S. Marshal, had set up a perimeter in the area of Dade Boulevard and Alton Road, which is on the edge of South Beach’s Sunset Harbour area. Video from Herald news partner CBS4 shows the fugitive taken into custody near West Avenue and 18th Street, two blocks from the condominiums that border the west and north sides of the area.

U.S. Marshals have yet to release the fugitive’s name.
