FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Jurors found Dayonte “Moochie” Resiles guilty of first-degree murder Friday after a mistrial was declared in the 27-year-old’s first trial in December.
Resiles is convicted of fatally stabbing 59-year-old Jill Halliburton Su in 2014.
He showed no emotion when the verdict was read.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale police are investigating after a 7-year-old brought a gun to school Friday, authorities said.
Police were called to Dillard Elementary School at 2330 NW 12th Court just before 8 a.m.

HIALEAH, Fla. – A man has been arrested, nearly a month after a mother of two was killed over a parking space dispute in Hialeah, authorities confirmed.
Hialeah police said Brandon Zambrano, 22, was taken into custody Wednesday with assistance from the Broward Sheriff’s Office. He faces charges of second-degree murder, petit theft and burglary.
