DAVIE, Fla. – Davie police are asking the public’s help to find two men spotted on camera stealing a safe early Friday morning.
Investigators say two Black men wearing hoodies knocked on the rear door of Los Amigos Check Cash Store at 13060 West State Road 84 before then forcing their way in.

DORAL, Fla. – A man was pulled from a canal near Doral Friday morning after a car plunged into the water following a police chase.
Sky 10 was above the area of Northwest 117th Avenue and 58th Street at 6:50 a.m. as divers brought the man out of the water and helped place him on a stretcher.
The man was then airlifted to a hospital, where he died.

MIAMI – A couple major cruise lines are preparing to start sailings from the United States again.
Norwegian Cruise Line announced Monday that it plans resume operations from the U.S. beginning Aug. 7.

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – A man is behind bars after investigators say he shot someone in the face at a birthday party early Sunday in Homestead.
Jesus Villatoro, 46, faces a charge of second-degree murder after the victim was found dead on the sidewalk outside a home in the 1600 block of Southwest 3rd Court, Miami-Dade County police say.

MIAMI – Miami police released a missing person’s flyer Friday in hopes that someone will help them locate an elderly man who has been missing since April 1.
According to police, Freddie Wooten, 83, was last seen at his home in the 1300 block of Northwest 55th Terrace.
Police said Wooten is disabled and uses a wheelchair.
The clothing Wooten was wearing at the time of his disappearance is not known.
