MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. – Authorities in Florida have arrested the fiancé of a 35-year-old woman who was shot to death in her apartment.
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey says 39-year-old Philip Keller was arrested on first-degree premeditated murder six days after 35-year-old Alicia Campitelli was found dead in Merritt Island.

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Florida lawmakers approved a gambling agreement signed by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Seminole Tribe in April.
The bill, approved Wednesday, allows the Seminole tribe to add roulette and craps to its casinos, including the popular Hard Rock facilities in Hollywood and also Tampa. In return, the state would be expected to receive an estimated $20 billion over the 30-year compact.

Underage suspects arrested in police chase expected to appear before judge
MIAMI – A high-speed police chase came to a crashing end on Wednesday in Broward County, as a stolen SUV ended up on its roof on I-95 in Hollywood.
There were five juveniles inside the stolen vehicle, some of whom are expected to appear before a judge on Thursday.

Crash ended on I-95 South at Pembroke Road
BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – A stolen SUV crashed Wednesday morning while fleeing from police in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Broward County.
Sky 10 was above the scene shortly after 8 a.m. as the Infiniti QX60 was traveling at a high rate of speed just before it crashed into another vehicle, causing it to spin out of control and end on its roof.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Two armed men held a 5-year-old girl and her parents at gunpoint during a home invasion on Monday in Miami-Dade County’s Tamiami neighborhood, police said.
The men arrived while the girl and her 34-year-old mother walked out of their home about 8 a.m., on Southwest 130th Avenue near Coral Way, police said.
