MIAMI – A man onboard a boat with his son was injured after their boat caught on fire and burst into flames north of Dinner Key Marina in Biscayne Bay.
According to initial reports, the man was injured after the boat was spotted on fire at around 10:30 a.m. about 200 yards away from shore in the Dinner Key South Channel.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Mayor Daniella Levine Cava announced a new initiative Monday aimed at keeping Miami-Dade County’s public parks safe — especially for kids.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Detectives are investigating three deaths on Monday that are related to a domestic violence shooting in southwest Miami-Dade County.
The shooting on Sunday afternoon was at a home at the corner of Southwest 191st Terrace and Southwest 129th Avenue.

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A speeding driver who fled from police and was involved in a hit-and-run collision on Thursday night died after a fiery rollover crash in Broward County, deputies said.
Miramar police officers said the driver was speeding at the 6600 block of Miramar Parkway. As officers followed, the driver struck a pedestrian and fled, police said.
