MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – South Florida students are continuing to hold protests against Florida’s so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill Thursday, which lawmakers passed earlier this week and which the governor is expected to sign into law.
Students at MAST Academy in Key Biscayne will walk out of class at 1:20 p.m. in protest of the bill, and students at Pembroke Pines Charter School will do the same at 2 p.m.

KEY LARGO, Fla. – A total of 356 Haitian migrants made their way to the Florida Keys over the weekend before being taken into custody
Officials with the U.S. Coast Guard said the boat came ashore near the Ocean Reef community in Key Largo on Sunday afternoon.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Miami Beach police are investigating after a homeless man was stabbed Friday morning.
The incident was reported at 5:39 a.m. near 1920 West Avenue.
According to Miami Beach police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez, officers arrived at the scene and found the victim with an apparent stab wound.
