MARGATE, Fla. – Officials are investigating a police-involved shooting that happened Sunday in Margate.
Officers responded to the area of Northwest 1st Street and Rock Island Road.
Sy Karim was working a few doors down from the drama and didn’t know what to think, but he told Local 10 News it was obvious trouble was near.

THE GOULDS, Fla. – Witnesses recorded videos showing a group of police officers arresting a man on Thursday in south Miami-Dade County. One of the videos shows the man on the floor, facing down, and an officer punching him in the head.
The arrest was in a parking lot near the intersection of Southwest 224th Street and Allappattah Road in Miami-Dade’s Goulds neighborhood. The officers also arrested three witnesses.

MIAMI – The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting that resulted in one man dead at 14907 SW 80th Street.
According to investigators, the victim was walking from his vehicle when an unknown armed subject approached and shot him in front of the victim’s apartment.
The subject possibly fled in a vehicle in an unknown direction.
