PALM COAST, Fla. – Florida deputies released shocking bodycam footage this week of a man using a 1-year-old toddler as a human shield following a wild chase.
The incident happened Sept. 27 in Flagler County.
According to deputies, Brandon Matthew Douglas Leohner, 27, of Palm Coast, was accused of kidnapping his girlfriend’s child from her home while armed with a gun.

According to authorities, Sophia Morota was last seen wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt with black pants and was carrying a cheetah-print suitcase.
She is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds.
Sophia has brown eyes and straight brown hair.

Unmarked police vehicles were parked around a blue sedan just after 3 p.m. Tuesday.

STOCK ISLAND, Fla. – A 36-year-old man was arrested Monday on accusations that he attempted to steal a propeller and a boat engine from a dock at Stock Island Marina Village, authorities said.
According to the Monroe County Sherriff’s Office, after talking to witnesses and viewing security camera footage, the suspect was later identified as Patrick John Humes.
